How much should I be able to eat?
I would definitely say water is the most important thing. I always try and make sure I get that in, then the protein. How's everything else? Pain ok?

How much should I be able to eat?
I was sleeved 11/12 also. I'm able to eat about 1.5 to 2 ounces at a time. Tonight I had about a half a cup of chili for dinner. I am getting in around 600 calories a day and make it a point to get at least 60 gr of protein a day. How's your protein intake? Water intake?

What kind of acid reducer?- Am I An Anomaly?
Thanks y'all! I think it's probably a combination of both real and head hunger. Today wasn't as bad as previous days so maybe it's just taking a little longer for me to adjust. I did buy that book and just started reading it last night. It's very Interesting so far! I'm not on any acid reducer yet but since I don't get heartburn or reflux is that necessary? I've lost about 24lbs since 11/2 but haven't lost anything since Friday. I'm trying to only weigh once a week but I caves today...LOL- Am I An Anomaly?
I was sleeved on November 12th and was able to start soft foods about a week ago. I feel like I am eating so much already and I am hungry all the time! I average about 600 calories a day and have no problems drinking...even gulping. I can eat approximately 1/4 to 1/2 a cup at a sitting or a 5 oz container of Greek yogurt. I have felt some restriction on occasion but for the most part I haven't had any issues. I'm very thankful that I've a had a great recovery but I'm also a little concerned that I'm going to end up not losing like I should because of how much I can eat as well as the hunger I feel this early on.- 33 Year Old Males Story
Amazing transformation!! Congratulations!- Any November 12 Sleevers?
Doing great so far! Back to work on Monday...bummer! I've lost 23 lbs and 11 inches since I started my pre op diet and I'm really excited for things to come. How about you?- Cheating? Already?!
I just had my post op doc appt today at 9 day post op and I'm down 20 lbs in 3 weeks - including my pre op diet! He said I can start soft foods now. So exited! I didn't think I was going to be able to start those until next week. I'm making an egg tonight y'all! Woo hoo!! Hang in there friends...it goes by faster than you think!- November Sleevesters?

Just got back from my post op doctors appointment. Sugery was on 11/12 and have lost 20 lbs including the week long preo-op diet. He said I can now start introducing soft foods!! Yay!! I am eating an egg tonight!- Really Having A Hard Time......
I'm in Jax too! I see we have different doctors but although the support group is held at Baptist downtown anyone can come. They are once a month and a ton of people show up. They are very informative. I'm going to one tonight and I think the next one is on 12/18. If you're interested let me know and I can send you the info. I think this type of support is way different than what you get from friends and family also. Thankfully I have a very supportive family but I've found that the group offers another side of support. Kinda like this website. What side of town are you on?- Have A Cigarette ?
I quit almost 4 weeks prior to surgery and everything went great! Just stay strong...I know it hard. Now that my mind is focused on something else it's not nearly as difficult. In fact I really don't ever think about smoking which is so different from all the other times I quit. You got this!!- Really Having A Hard Time......
Hang in there girl! They will come around and if they don't then you do what you gotta do for you! Do you attend any support groups? Where are you located?- Cheating? Already?!
My doc considers plain low fat or Greek yogurt and sugar free pudding ok on the liquid phase. The peanut butter isn't on the list but I figured if it was a tiny bite and melted in my mouth I'd be ok...just once.- Cheating? Already?!
I'm one week post op and in the last coupe days have really started to get hungry. I've had pea soup, tomato soup, Greek yogurt and protein shakes. Today I put the tip of my finger in the peanut butter jar and let it melt in my mouth before I swallowed. That was fabulous! I'm on 2 days of clear liquids in the hospital, 2 weeks of full liquids and 2 weeks of soft foods.- November Sleevesters?
Good luck to everyone going in this week!- Let's Check In November 2012 Sleevers!
That's awesome! Congrats!- 9 Months- 100 Pounds! Woo Hoo! Had To Share (Brag, Whatever)
AMAZING!!!!- Please Help - Was Sleeved On Monday The 12Th
I felt like I was starving every couple hours today! Thankfully an oz or two of soup does the trick! For a few minutes I wished that I could just shove a giant cheeseburger in my mouth then I snapped out of it. The battle in my head will be harder than the surgery.- November Sleevesters?
It went really well! No nausea, not much gas, some pain and discomfort but I definitely think my c-section was worse. I've been getting most of my protein in as well as my fluids. I noticed today I've been "hungry" but have been satisfied with an ounce or so of soup. Today I had 3 shakes and about 2 oz of soup. It almost feels like I shouldn't be "eating" this much so soon. I also went on two walks today...those definitely help! Oh and last night I was finally able to sleep on my side for a while! Yay!! Overall I would have to say my experience has been excellent. I'm extremely blessed! What about you? How much have you been eating, walking? Any major pains? - Am I An Anomaly?
