Can't Wait To Work Without My Legs Hurting At The End Of The Day.

Recommended Posts

I am a teacher and on my feet all day. Tonight, as I was grocery shopping, my legs were hurting. I realized how much better they will be feeling once the weight starts coming off.

I'm down 40lbs after my 10/16 sleeve date and I can tell you for sure that relief starts immediately - I can't imagine how great it will be next year at this time. Good luck! I'm a corporate trainer do more forgiving than your role but painful to carry this weight nonetheless. I can already tell a huge difference!

I teach as well. What do you teach? What is your plan to navigate the school year and surgery/ recovery?

I teach 6-8 grade English and history. My principal and co-workers are so excited for me and are being very supportive. I am having surgery on the 17th of Dec. Hoping to just miss that week and one after the break.

I'm with you on that! My date is Dec.3 and I am on my 2 week pre-op diet. Funny how each surgeon is different about the pre-op process. However, it's working for me!

I teach English also! A lot of people that I know have told that they felt great after just a couple weeks. I'm sure you will be able to get back to work within that time frame :).

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
