Hey wats kudos and turbo fire I will like to try..

MaryPoppings

"Kudos" was just a reference to all of the supportive things others were posting. Turbo Fire is a pretty intense work out program--part of the Beachbody series. They have a website, and lots of other programs to choose from.

Thanks! I started at 240--about 173 now--I want to get down to 140, but it is very slow going. I lost 4.8lbs during the first month of Turbofire, and lost about 4.5 inches all over my body. I do have some loose skin, mostly in my thighs--a little in my upper arms and tummy, but it's not too bad, especially considering that I don't intend to ever walk around in public with all my parts out anyway ;)

You look wonderful! I can't wait to get my sleeve so I can start looking like you! :)

Beautiful! I only hope I look half as good as you after my surgery!

Hey guys' date='

Just wanted to share some pics, cuz we all love it when others share pics! :). This is my first time sharing photos, aside from my avatar. I'm 9 months out of surgery as of yesterday, and initially, I was having my hubby take pictures every month. I kinda fell off over the summer, but finally remembered to have him snap a few this morning. I cried a little when I put the 'before' and 'after' side by side. I was self pay, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Rejoicing over here!! Woot!

p.s. not sure if I'm doing this right, so hopefully there are pictures here!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
