November 5Th Sleevers?

Good. I'm glad it's not just me. If I make ground turkey into taco meat, I can eat 1.5 oz at a time. But never 2 of any meat.

Congratulations!!! Is it your first? It is obviously not recommended but both you and bubs will be just fine!! There is a sleevers peegnancy board on here which may be useful to read through.

At 4 months out you can definately feed baby enough nutrients etc. Your stomach will also become more accomodating during the pregnancy. You will both just need to be monitored a bit more closely :) Chances are u will go through pregnancy and still lose weight ... winning!! You will just have to be good about getting back on track afterwards!!

This is my second one of the main reasons I had the surgery is to have another baby, my first pregnancy was rough and I didn't want my next to be that way lol!! I plan to keep exercising until I can't anymore so I hope I do continue to lose!! I feel better after reading your post! Thank you!!!!! I think I am still in shock about it!

Omg I was sleeved 11/5 and have been losing sooo much hair the past two weeks. Did this really help?

It doesn't help grow hair. But it hides it amazing. My hair looks full

I'm taking 5000mcg of Biotin to help grow back

Just got back blood work from doctor. Thought maybe my thyroid off. Bad Hair loss, shivering , lack of energy.

It turns out its my Iron. Dropped from 80 to 10. She said common for gastric patients. Anything below 16 will cause hair loss

So maybe get yours checked

I'm on B12 shots and Iron pills now

I'll post a pic of my hair with that powder hiding my loss / and one without the powder if u are interested .

Yes please I would love to see pics. I have really thick hair but I notice it has thinned in the front. It's not that bad but it's noticeable to me compared to what it use to look like. Thank you so much for all the info, guess I should go to the doctor soon.

I gave blood the other day and my Iron was a 40, is that good?

I was sleeved on 11/7/12 -- I am down 55 lbs. I am also losing hair. The doctor says it is very common -- once it starts your hair follicles go through a cycle -- they tell me not to worry -- it will grow back (I sure hope so). :)

I am attempting to get my Protein in but am having a hard time as I am not hungry and really don't feel like eating (I guess that's a good thing). All my blood work came back great but my Protein was a little low. So I will push myself a bit to eat more protein. I am also very faithful about taking my Vitamins. I am only taking Iron every couple of days.

Greetings everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I know I have been MIA my job has kept me super busy jumping from city to city over the last month or show. I know I have a few emails to send out about my plan and between myself & my assistant I'm going to have that out to you guys before the end of the week. Plz feel free to send my your emails and ill cc everyone. With that being said HERE IS MY UPDATE. AS OF RIGHT NOW I AM DOWN 128lbs. I feel great and now that I have been busy and not able to check daily I felt overcome when I saw that I lost 128lbs. I'm adding more items to my diet daily and to be honest most days I have to force myself to eat because I'm never really hungry. I can honestly say that since I have dropped all this weight professionally I have been more accepted. At times I miss curtain foods and having a few drinks while out for business meeting but overall it was the best decision I have ever made.

Hello All! I was wondering what people's average caloric intake is currently. Mine is between 500 and 650. Just curious to see where others are at.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
