How Many Calories Pre Op?

I've been doing my pre op diet for two days. I decided to enter it into 'my fitness pal'and it totaled under 500 calories. Is that right?

I am using the Syntrax Nectar packages. The AM mixed with milk and the PM one mixed with Water. Then salad with low cal low fat dressing and 2 oz chicken breast. My pre op instructions say salad with Protein, but not how much.

i'm on 5 Optifast shakes a day. The program is called Optifast 800 because 5 a day is 800 calories.

Ok. I thought it seemed like not quite enough calories. I shouldn't be obsessing. I'm not required to start this diet til Oct 30th, but I wanted to prove to myself I could do this before surgery.
