2 weeks

This sounds normal for 2 weeks out. It is majorally important that you get in more water too. I know your trying. Just keep sipping! Your stomach is really swollen still and is healing from the major surgery. It will take a while to be able to drink more at a time. It will happen. Keep sipping and perhaps add a little G2 Gatorade to help. It helped me alot. Eat a lot of popsickles too. Sip on some soup broths and try some protein shakes. :) It does get better. :)

Oh wow!! 1) i hope you feel better/heal from stitches but 2) get fluids down! Scary. Did ER Dic recommend anything?

Sounds scary! You have to focus on the fluids - but this time around listen to your body and more closely watch for signs of dehydration. If you are getting dehydrated you really need to go in and get IV fluids. Be careful!

Keep trying with Water but start immediately with Gatorade, the G2 as someone above said. It will help, I promise. When it felt as if I was dying of thirst and couldn't stomach water the G2 kept me going and actually made me feel better.

Seriously send your husband out for some ASAP.

Gatorade, try to find one that you love. Or can learn to love. Also I found it helped me to drink things at room temp. I could not handle cold.
