The All-Canadian October Challenge!!!

Recommended Posts

Here we go, this should be the official one!

(I hope that's ok, and the other one was originally just supposed to be a 'should we do another challenge?" thread?)

I would LOVE to make 8lbs this month.... so that's my goal. Making me 209.8lbs.

My goal is also to join a gym this month, hopefully VERY soon. As soon as I'm feeling 100% better from my bronchitis.

So, everyone, I hope you don't mind reposting your goals for the month ? :)

Sounds good.:biggrin1: I probably won't get my first fill until the end of the month, but maybe this will keep me from cheating on the pureed and mushie diets.:)

confession...had pizza and cake today:( (my daughter's 10th birthday). I'm so bad...supposed to be having pureed stuff. Now I just feel guilty.:hurt

OK, this is the same as I'm posting on the June thread: 1200 cals, 64 oz Water and at least 20 min exercise per day. And for this I hope to lose 8 lbs, not a measly 5 like I did in Sept. And I've started the month off with a bang. It's 6 pm and I've done NO exercise today. However, tomorrow is a brand new day.

I think I should make another goal. To grow my hair back. I'm starting to get worried now, its getting awfully thin:eek: .

:) Yoda, I don't think I could handle once a week..It is stressful just thinking about it. I'd only be able to do that if I forgot my scale at home when I went on vacation! The times when I have not weighed myself everyday I have been out of control with my eating and it is easier for me to be in denial and binge.

It helps me be more in control and accountable for everything I put in my mouth.:car:

Okay....I have another goal too.

Drink 8 cups of Water a day...minimum.

Very difficult lately (see Yoda's Yammerin's!).

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
