I started out at 225 and I am now 183 so far so good. keep me posted on all of you, work is crazy so I am on much less than before thanks for your loving support all of you. I have a new pic I am going to up load..

Second fill today There were only 2. cm left from original fill of 1.0. Now at 1.5 cm. So far so good. Now let's see how the body does with this new information.

The scale isn't changing but my husband comments that there is less of me to hug. What wonderful words!!

I had my third fill this past Friday. I'm really restricted. I'm hoping it loosens up a bit as I can't even drink all of my Water for the day.

I'm down 49.5 pounds....grrr, fighting for that last .5 of a pound!

Had my second fill three days ago, *still* at the same amount lost. Oh well, hopefully this will jump start the loss again. Only had .5 cc in the bad, from an initial 1.5 fill, so they took me back to 1.5cc.

I'm not going to wait so long next time for another fill. Had some upper resp issues going on, so I had to reschedule my fill appts TWICE! Ugh!

I'm getting fuller faster though, even with liquids. Mushies start today, so that's exciting. Wish me luck and some will power!

Karen,

I stalled for about a month and a half, however I was still losing inches. I have seen people call this "compacting" and it makes a lot of sense. I think your third fill is going to do it for you. Just hang in there and look for some Non scale Victories to keep your chin up!

Well, I'm still on my third fill and am now down 84 pounds, and 10 sizes! I did the happy dance in the fitting room when I tried on a size 20 skirt.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
