Hungry

I am 6 weeks out and lately I've been hungry every 2-3 hours. Will this feeling go away? I hope so it's scaring me. I am trying to eat high protein to fill me up for longer periods but it's not working like before.

I have a stupid question... those of you with hunger issues: do you go to group meetings, and where did you get your surgeries? Thank you very much.

I will be 11 months tomorrow and I never had that side effect of not being hungry. It really sucks because I think I would have been more succesful if I did. Every single day I have to fight my appetite, I have thought of ttaking appetite suppressants. I know they aren't a permanent solution but if they could just help me lose these last 50lbs :/

I was sleeved in Mexico on Sept 7. Even though I have hunger pains I do get filled up fast and have to eat slowly so I don't over eat. I don't attend any group meetings.

Stalls are gud for us sumtimes..i stall to..but wen I start bak losing again..i do excellent..im always eating but wen I do..i eat gud things and another thing I notice is wen I drink my protein shakes im less hungrey and I loose more weight that month opose to not drinking my protein everyday. Im almost to goal and it seems the last few lbs take forever losing but I do get hungry alot but thr key thing is to choose healthyfood and snacks.

Sory guys..wat I mean is wen I drink my protein daily like my doc says I loose alot and wen I dont drink my protein I dont loose weight and im

Girls, but I though we are allowed to eat every 3 hours. why you cannot just eat snack?( healthy one). I am 2 weeks out and I am eating every 2.5 - 3 hours.

It's best to eat every 2 or 3 hours. I have a Greek Yogurt in between each meal as a snack to fill me up and give me extra protein. The yogurts with my fluids, are keeping me feeling full and getting me through the day.

Good luck.

I am three weeks out and I feel hungry every morning when I wake up. I can only eat/drink 6 oz at a time. Trying mushies bit something still hurt.

Im almost a yr out and still cant eat much more than a cup of food which is 8oz. My problem is tht I'm hungry all the time.

I don't want to have to take Adipex that's the reason why I had the operation. Adipex is really bad for you and it gives me heart palpitations. As for the people who have yet to be sleeved. Yes i get hungry and probably eat every 2-3 hours however I only eat a small amount. It's not like it was. I had hoped I wouldn't be hungry at all and had no thought of food but thats unfortunately not the case :(

I was hoping for the same thing. It sucks. Food is still a problem. UGH!!!!

My weight loss is slow but I am down 28 lbs starting a week before surgery so about 7 weeks. I have decided that I eat so little of food that I am just going to eat what I want and when I want it. I decided that I didn't do this to be on a diet. I wanted to be able to put down the fork when I felt full like a normal person. Which I am now able to do since I have that restriction. Anyway I am only getting about 1000 calories a day and I think I should be able to lose on that, so I am going to try it my way and see how it goes.

I eat wen I feel hungry and thats why u have to make sure wen u go grocery shopping u bye only gud things thats low cal and sugar free. I admit to snaking on candy sumtimes wen its rite in my face so thats the reason I try not to bye junk and bring it home..sumtime I make me a pj sandwich using sugar free jelly and I jave used the regular to but I dont practice it or just the penut butter and low carb bread.it help me with my sweet tooth.. I still have one..lol.im alot better now that I have the sleeve..my hunger isnt great as it was before sleeve..remember everyones body difrnt and u have to do wats comfy for u so I dont put my body on no schedule wen it comes to eating..its not how many times ur eating..its ur food choices..think low cal sugar free oh and exercise and u wil be so fine just as I am.

Wen ur new out..try hard to follow guidelines pls..u dont want to get sick..eat and drink intil ur tummy says no ok guys. Ps I luv my sleeve!
