I Wish I'd Known...
The day after I regretted it because of the pain. Now I am so glad I did it. 8 weeks and 35 lbs down. I do miss eating though. Learning to eat small amounts slowly and chewing lots is hard to learn. I am amazed by how much people eat, kind of grossed out by it. Obviously we can all get by on far less. I now eat to live not live to eat. Good luck on you surgery

Two New "cupcakes"
Wonton wrappers freeze well. Just make sure there isnt any frost on them when thawing or they will be soggy.

Hungry
Thanks for bringing the drinking thing to my attention. Funny how you forget so easily. I used to have a Protein shake every morning but got tired of them. Think I will get back to that. Thanks everyone.

Hungry
I was sleeved on September 7. Everything is going fine - I have lost 32 lbs (8.5 weeks); however I seem to always be hungry. I had 1 cup 1% milk, 1/2 slice whole grain flax bread toasted with 1/2 Tbsp Peanut Butter and a cup of coffee for Breakfast. Hour and a half later I am starving. I was told not to snack between meals but I can't go for more than 2 hrs without crazy hunger pain. Sometimes the hunger is so bad it wakes me up in the middle of the night. Thank goodness I am too tired to get up to eat and it eventually passes. Anyone else experiencing this? Any and all advice is very much appreciated.

Hungry
I was sleeved in Mexico on Sept 7. Even though I have hunger pains I do get filled up fast and have to eat slowly so I don't over eat. I don't attend any group meetings.

I take a multi everyday. maybe I should increase my protein. What do you normally eat daily to get that much?- Three Weeks Post Op And Still Not Much Energy
I am three weeks post op. I started mushies last Friday. I am getting around 600 cal/day which includes a minimum of 40 g protein but I still don't have much energy. I am pretty much useless after 4pm. Is this normal? Does it get better or do you just get used to it?- Tomorrow Surgery Gasx Strips
I bought mine at walmart. They had cinnamon and mint. You can find them with the stomach aids. Good luck. - Hungry
