When Did You Decide To Weigh?

Curious when you decided to weigh for the first time after surgery? Today has been 1 week and I am afraid to get on the scale...don't want any disappointment. Thinking about waiting until follow-up with surgeon but that's not for 2 more weeks.....

I asked them to weigh me before I was discharged because I thought I might be over the weight limit on the scale at my parents' house.

I stayed off the scale until my first follow up 9 days after being discharged from the hospital. I then decided to weigh myself once per week on Thursday mornings. It would be too easy for me to obsess about the "number" instead of focusing on protein and fluids. I do track my food, fluid, etc with My Net Diary. I have lost at each weekly weigh-in so far. I'm following my surgeon's diet exactly, no cheats. I want to get to goal on schedule so I can maintain. I am focused and determined to make this work for me.

Flew home from Mexico a week after surgery

a whopping 15 lbs lighter than the day of surgery.

I weigh myself every single day since that day :)

I had surgery on Wednesday and weighed every Monday. Seems fitting to start the week off.

It was a week ago today that I was sleeved, and I'm fighting the temptation to get on the scale right now.
