Good luck! I was sleeved on the 19th and doing good!

Good luck and fast healing wishes to all of today's sleevers :)

Good luck to everyone getting sleeved today! Mine was done Oct 4th.... Dr Redmann is awesome!!!

Best of luck all!!!!

I was sleeved yesterday. I can honestly say I felt like Hell afterwards. Damn gas pains. Today SO MUCH better, but they keep making me use this breathing thing and literally everyone I do I end up with the hiccups. Not cool at all.

I felt rough yesterday too (day of my surgery) but today has been way better. The breathing thing is annoying-especially when the incision area is sore. Had tremendous gas pains too. Glad your better today.

I was sleeved yesterday, too. The breathing meter is definitely not my favorite. I'm being kept another night, as I'm not able to get my liquids in :( I'm grateful that I don't have awful gas pains or pestering nausea. Hope everyone is resting and healing well! Back to sip sip sip, walk walk walk!

Did anyone else experience hiccups. Annoying as hell and painful on that one big incission area. Seems like when my pain meds start to west off the hiccups start up, then I take my meds and the hiccups die.

If it wasn't for the hiccups today would have been great. I'm finally being released to go home. Yeeeaaah me! Haha

Oct 19th here! I'm 26 years old with one child and work as a nurse. I was self pay with Dr Alvarez in Mexico. 18lbs down so far including the pre-op liquid diet!

I had surgery at 8 this morning, I have had to pee all day, no catheter, nothing to drink only a pill container with ice. I have went to the restroom 100 times (close) and have to say I am feeling good, no moriphine cause makes me itch, so getting dialaud (sorry can't spell) in my I.V , they said I could leave tomorrow aftnoon, and I haven't even been on any fluids, so how they know I will hold down fluids? This site (found by a accident) researching the sleeve vs the bypass, has been a tremendous source for me. Thank you all. I do have some gas pains but my biggest problem is having to pee every 5 minutes, can't wait to be.done with these fluids! Good luck to all, see ya on the losers bench.

Most likely they will have you try a couple of medicine cups of liquids and if you do well, they will let you go home. I had to down 2 medicine cups worth within 1 hour to go ;)

Update from my surgery yesterday everything is going well so far still in some pain and still feeling the gas more around a little bit happy so far with the decision to have the sleeve done with everyone up dates I kinda know what expect and that helped a lot ... Walked the halls yesterday a couple of time and did really good I just have had the best nurses they have really taken good care of me. They had me on the Iv fluids all day yesterday so today I am going to start clear liquids !! Well that it so far hope everyone yesterday made out good and good luck for the surgeries today!!!

I had my surgery yesterday. Everything went well,. Has anyone experience d is blurred vision, has anyone else had this issue??

Hiii Everyone =o)!

I've been reading these forums from afar and finally decided to join and start saying Hello. I was Sleeved 10/16 and am feeling better and better every day. Am down 40 lbs since I started my pre-op diet! 15 of that in the 10 days since surgery, I am soo excited to continue this journey and get my skinny on!

I have to say I am amazed at how different everyones diets are post surgery. I am on 2 weeks of clear liquids will actually be 2 weeks and a few days because I cant progress until my follow up on 11/1. Been drinking alot of gatorade and propel water with a ton of beneprotein mixed in them to get my protein in and that's really it! I can do broth too but I'm so focused on my protein and ugh that's just nasty adding beneprotein to my broth (its a mental thing). I can do jello as well but eh, just a little burnt out. But I see alot of people are already on pureed foods or were able to do full liquids/purees within a few days of surgery. Feeling a little deprived!! But have to say I'm loving the weight loss and I'm not hungry so I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

Good luck to everyone on your journey!
