  1. Sleeved 10/23... down 29.5...still on full liquids....going insane.
  2. I may just be working myself up over nothing, but I would appreciate it if anyone can confirm or put to bed my nerves. I am 5 days post-op. I drank a Water bottle full of pineapple juice, diluted of course. Well, once I got to the end of the bottle I realized there was small flecks of pineapple pulp in the drink I had just consumed. I feel my stomach gurgling and churning. Makes me nervous the pulp I just ingested is going to rupture something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
  3. Did anyone else experience hiccups. Annoying as hell and painful on that one big incission area. Seems like when my pain meds start to west off the hiccups start up, then I take my meds and the hiccups die. If it wasn't for the hiccups today would have been great. I'm finally being released to go home. Yeeeaaah me! Haha
  4. I was sleeved yesterday. I can honestly say I felt like Hell afterwards. Damn gas pains. Today SO MUCH better, but they keep making me use this breathing thing and literally everyone I do I end up with the hiccups. Not cool at all.
  5. I'm headed there now if the wife doesn't kill us with her driving first! Haha. Mouth is dry as hell, I'm nervous.

  8. I check in tomorrow at 7:30am central time, 10:30 procedure time. I can say I am feeling the nerves right now. Driving around town running errands and all I seem to see is restaurant signs everywhere. Driving me crazy.
  9. I'm one week in on the pre-op diet and am down 9lbs. I think day one and two were the worst. Had the EGD done yesterday afternoon. I woke up talking about Bennihannas! HAHA
  10. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. Anyone have any tips? My dr has me on a 1200 caloie diet. Protein shakes for breakfast, lunch, tons of water, and a small serving of a protein and vegetable for dinner Good luck to everyone.

  12. I hope no one does that to me, I might just shove it in their eye. hahaha
  13. Oct. 23rd date here. I'm 35, married (sexy supportive wife), and 2 beautiful kids (6,3). I started my pre-op on my own today, official start date is the 9th. Dr. Nicholson in Dallas is my surgeon. Good lock to all Oct. 1st sleevers out there!

  15. All of this sounds like what I was told. Good thing, since I found a roof leak on my house today. Bit stressed about that expense and the surgery date. I dont want anything getting in the way of that.
  16. Best of luck tomorrow, my date is 10/23. So what about the out-of-pocket maximum. How does that come into play, or does it. I was told i had the 150 surgeons copay, then the woman said the hospital showed 100% covered. but im still wondering if someone is forgetting something. haha
  17. Anyone have any experience with BCBS Federal Basic plan and what you ended up covering out-of-pocket?
  18. Hey there everyone. New to the group. I have my last dietitian appointment on Wednesday and then its being submitted for approval. Ive been told by my Drs. office that it should be two weeks max to get my approval. Im really looking forward to this. Will be shooting for mid October for the procedure if approval goes according to plan. I would shoot for sooner but have a trip to the Windy City for work planned for mid month. I guess I get to go out with a bang. Chicago will be a nice place to enjoy myself a bit before coming home to get into the pre-op process. I dont really know what else to say, but that I am so looking forward to the old me. haha
