No. Praying for her. Hoping it's just maybe too much stomach acid or gastritis

I'm thinking of her, too, and hoping all is well.

Just leaving hosp. Vomiting blood. They diagnosed it as gastrointestinal bleeding. All they did was send me home and told me if it keeps happening to come back. They didnt even look at my stomach. Will see what happens.

Thank you all for your concern. It is very much appreciated. Much love to you all! <3

Glad to hear that was all they needed to do. Hope your feeling better. I'm sure you will call you doctor tomorrow right?

Yes imma call him. :)

Yes imma call him. :)

Hi my name is Lindsay from Cincinnati area oh. My surgery was oct 1st I'm three weeks tomorrow and the day after my surgery my stomach swelled shut. I have been on TPN (iv nutrition) for three weeks. I can try to sip water up to full liquids but can only sip cause I throw everything back up or get very nauseated when I try. Go back in two weeks maybe they will be able to open me back up. But it has been good for me to learn that food isn't the answer to stress and it has made me find other ways to cope.

Imworthit you can do it I was so scared but all you have to do is get to the hospital they will help from there!!

Hi all. I was sleeved on 10/15. I'm reading about everyone difficulties and to tell you the truth, I'm really scared because I haven't had ANY difficulties. Besides the incision pain and being tired, I've truly had no nausea, vomiting, extreme chest pain, gas pains, etc. the only thing I'm having trouble with is drinking all the protein drinks. Not because I'm not tolerating it physically but because I'm just so sick of the chalky and sweet taste. I decided this morning to start my full liquids today instead of tomorrow and made a broccoli, cauliflower and potato puréed soup and it's heavenly.

I'm not trying to brag...I'm truly scared because its been TOO easy! Something must be wrong??? I keep questioning whether my doctor actually did the full surgery beyond the incisions! I know it sounds crazy but I keep reassuring myself that if it didn't happen, I'd have passed out by now and be STARVING!!!

Is anyone else like this? I'm really scared.
