October 9th for me..4 days and counting. I was originally scheduled for 9/11 but I had time reschedule for work related issues. My surgeon required a one week NutriMed diet, which I started on 10/2. I'm doing good but I would pay money for a piece of bread right now..lol!

I know what you mean! I walked into the office this morning & our division pres had brought in fresh bagels, cream cheese, and a pastry ring. I would have given my right arm for one of those bagels. They smelled so good!

On my way home from the hospital now. Still feel tired from the operation but nothing too bad. It's a struggle to get all the water down as tummy is swollen and gas also causes restriction but its getting easier. Just want to fast forward next few days. It's a bit of a roller coaster of emotions.

Hello everyone! sorry I haven't posted! I had surgery Thurs. All went well thank God!! I have been holding down my liquids with no problem. Drank my protein shake and I'm drinkin my water of 30cc's of water every 15 minutes. The pain is so very tolerable! Just the air bubbles are so annoying and didn't let me sleep the first night but otherwise I'm home. Stayed another night because my oxygen level was not where it need to be. i had AMAZING care in William Beaumont Army Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Nurses were wonderful, GREAT care form everyone!! Joining you guys on the losers bench. just not yet, full of air still! And my family support has been wonderful also. All is GOOD!!!

I'm scheduled for Oct 31! Feels like there's so much to do before then!

Hey! I am in Tyler Tx

I'm officially two weeks away! Started pre-op diet today and its a struggle! I have been doing great the last 3 months of having Protein shakes for Breakfast and lunch. The kind they made me buy is a different story! Constant feeling I'm gonna puke and its clumpy and weird. I prefer my whey protein isolate wayyyy better! Where there's a will there's a way and I refuse to cheat!
