ME!! lol I don't have a date yet either but they told me October also! I get my date September 18th at my last surgeons appointment can't wait!

Im tentatively planning for Oct 27 in Tijuana with Dr Garcia...Anyone else planning for Tijuana that weekend? Of course im scared to death, but its all good: im giving myself time for the pre op liver shrink and getting all my sh*t together! I've got some planning to do!

I'm also hoping for an October date. My final nut appointment is 9/4 - in a perfect world it would be end of September but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for October. Anyone been turned down after doing the 6 month insurance wait game? That's my biggest fear.

I have a little over a month before surgery approval. I am hoping for a date in Oct. it has been a long 5 months wait but I have taken that time to learn about the surgery and life after surgery from these posts!

I was told by my surgeons assistant that I have a tentative date of October 2. It sounds so far away by its actually less than 2 months away. I would like to be able to hope it was sooner but I need this time to develop healthy habits and to shrink my liver. Less than 2 months. Eeeeep!

I turn 21 in Oct and that's when my insurance can give me info about surgeons and all that good stuff. So October is a big month for me too Im 3 months into my 6 months of supervised weightloss and I'm going to schedule a psych eval soon hope eveythings smooth sailing for us

October 23rd for me. I'm in the 6 month insurance waiting period now. I have my sleep study scheduled for 08/21 & Psych eval scheduled for 08/10. Other than those last two, I HOPEFULLY have jumped through all the other hoops (Cardiologly clearance, Pulmonology clearance, Neurology clearance, 2 support group meetings, Nutritional education). My BMI is 40.

I am going to be beyond devastated if my insurance denies me when my time comes. That has been my biggest fear throughout this whole process.
