Scheduled for Sept 6th! Tentative because my husband is a cancer patient...I have to be strong to help him with whatever comes from his recent tests.

Starting the liquid diet on Monday anyways, just to make sure I can have the surgery if all works out!

Good luck to both of you!

Looking at Sept 24, my preop is Tuesday. Will know for sure.

Day one of "high protein liquid diet" down - 9 to go.

I've been trying out shakes for a while, to find ones I like, and haven't had a problem with it. Today, all of the sudden, I have the worst gas on the planet. WTH??!!?? Do.not.want.

Thinking of you all!

My surgery is scheduled for September 17th. I am so excited and nervous. Right now it seems that the three weeks will never pass, but I know that in reality, I will be at my surgery day in no time.

I am also September 14 at Baylor at Trophy Club! Looking forward to beginning my jourbey in less than 3 weeks!

Lol-not just sisters-triplets!!! Sept 14th is lookin like a lucky day :)

and actually I know another gal.. her name on here is StrangelyNormal.. she will be getting sleeved on Sept 14th too, I'm hoping maybe I'll get to meet her because we will both be in TJ! so now that's 4 of us :)

oh yeah DUH you and I will both be at the Lucerna!!! I spaced it hahaha we DEFINITELY have to meet up and practice sipping together at some point hahaha

I am scheduled on September 17. Now insurance just needs to approve me. I am just waiting....

Pre op visit is Tuesday :). I should have a date then and I'm STILL saying sept 10. Wouldn't that be something if the date I wanted for six months becomes real? :). Prayers pa lease

I was told Dr. Ponce only asks for 3 days pre-op diet of liquids and yogurt.. I'm noticing there are SO many variations between what different doctors require!! I'm just gonna do what he asked for but have definitely scaled down my daily inhalation of high calorie low nutrient foods LOL for the most part I'm already sticking with high protein low carb and lots of water, trying to condition myself to it too :P I'm also trying to sllllllllllllllllow down how fast I eat and then really paying attention to when I don't feel hungry anymore. I've noticed there's a big difference for me between 'feeling full' vs. 'not feeling hungry'.

I can do relate!! I have issues with my band, so what I can even eat is terribly limited-I'm lookin fwd to being able to eat a little something & not 'slime' afterwards!! Our countdown is on girl!! I'm gettin way excited! I hope I pack the right things-I'm a total overpacker-gonna try & keep it minimal....

3rd NUT appointment Wednesday & I start my pre-op liquid diet Wednesday too! OMG 9/19 can't get here fast enough!

My preop liquid would start on August 31. from one point I am looking forward from another one already scared :)
