  7. Hey all! Sleeved 9/14 & also single...went thru a bad divorce that finally ended in April of 2011...then, my ex hubs passed away 8 months later from heart disease. He was 42. One of The reasons I decided to go with the sleeve...life isn't garanteed-I hope in doing this, I'll have a long life with my daughter. And perhaps a love interest in the future
  8. I had my revision done Sept 14th in Mexico. Went just fine, no pain meds, up & walking just me & my IV to the bathroom within 2 hours of surgery. Surgery took about an hour & 45. Haven't had any issues, incision sites look great, am eating puréed/soft texture foods.
  9. I never had any gas pain & I bought 2 boxes of gas X strips for nothin..lol when I had my gallbladder out-I had gas then, but not with my sleeve..yea, I do get hungry sometimes...not ravenous, but some hunger...I just try & focus on protein first...I even take lean roast beef or chicken breast & blend it into soup...the hunger pangs are nothing like they were b4...I can eat about 2-2 1/2 oz @ a time right now... When is your surgery?
  10. Doin really well-been able to get all my fluids in these last cpl days & trying to get all my Protein...really close no issues with anything I've eaten, I'm doin softs now, never had pain, & exercising everyday...I'm happy with this tool so far!!!

  14. Just wanted to say hi to all u guys & I'm glad ur feeling better Ms Ready! Wanted to ask, do cold things or hot things have any affect on that stuck feelin in ur throat? Cold made me feel that way for the 1st wk or so...I had surgery on the 14th, & doin pretty well...I stick with full liquids, but I have been blending soups for a 'regular' dinner...I'm dyin for refried beans, but nervous that they'll b heavy on my belly... 1 other thing I do is I eat with a baby spoon...helps me keep the bites small, & things go down smoothly (yogurt, pudding, mashed taters, potted meat) Hope u gals start feelin better! I pray for all of us to be healthy
