I just found out I have to a gyn surgery within the next few weeks. Just wondering if any other females have gone thru this and if their surgery dates had to be changed because of it. I have to have an endometrial balloon ablation with a dnc and hysteroscopy. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I had a D&C 2 months before my surgery and wls was not postponed.

I would not think that it would cause problems, as ablation and d&c are relatively non-invasive (meaning no incisions have to made). It's most likely to be done as an outpatient procedure, with you going home the same day.

I have had these procedures done in the past. I know what to expect from them. I'm just curious as to whether I should expect my surgery time frame changed because of it. Thank you so much for all of your input.
