ROFL!!!

I have to admit, there are a few people on the board now that seem to be very negative and love to hear themselves talk. Unfortunetly, it's at US.

My theory is that we don't get this big for no reason. food was/is our medication for many reasons, so we see some "interesting" people, emotional, angry and dysfunctional posting going on.

Some may take offense for that assumption, but I feel that hits pay dirt so pfffft. :^p

Can we go back to talking about lesbian things?

Did I miss something????? Oh, well....does this count?

My DH and I went to Sam's on Saturday. We noticed two women shopping together. One of them had on a tee shirt that read:

Chicks love me

Guys fear me

Is that a not-so-subtle way of announcing that she's gay, do you think?

LOL Carlene, earlier in the thread they were discussing lesbian things revolving around female members hugging and rubbing oil on each other which is what I was referring to.

I don't know if the tee shirt means she's Gay, but it's pretty funny either way!

I just want to know what I missed! :)

Hey, a little drama :drama: can keep a board lively! It's a tough job being a moderator (been there, done that), and it's difficult sometimes to know when to step in and take action to stop a flame war that might chase off members. That being said, this *is* the rants and raves forum!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
