Thanks everyone! so a quick little update; got to hospital 10am, did all the tests like blood pressure, ECG weighed me etc. I haven't had anything to eat or drink since 7.30am. Really thirsty now! I am just resting in bed till i get taken to the holding room, then surgery at about 2.30pm which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. They gave me special knee high stockings to wear now and keep on the whole time in hospital (the ones that prevent blood clots). That's about it so far, and so far so good! I'll post another update when I am on the other side! Ps- I asked my surgeon to take a photo or keep my stomach, I really want to see it lol, is that gross or what?! I just think it would be pretty cool! xx
