Hey everyone, i am fustrated and confused i have been gaining weight and i was sleeved on july 6th and even though its only 2 pounds.. i have gained another pound today and im afraid its gonna get worse.. i mean i am eating what i am suppose to be eating, i walk everyday i eat very little and im taking my vitamins and protein but i also have a problem with my thyroid and starting to think maybe that could be it, i was on medicine for it but my surgeon took me off it but is this normal?? has anyone else has had this problem?

oops sorry about that i thought i was tooken off my thyroid pill but it was a different pill he took me off of i get my spironolactone and my thyroid pill mixed up lol

i also have a thyroid problem ive had it ever since i was in the 5th grade but i take medication for it and had my sleeve done on july 6th with no problems

your not alone i am having the same problem i feel hungry all the time but i think for me its just cause of boredom but i have been walking to avoid eating when im bored and that has helped

Hi everyone i just gotten my sleeve on july 6th and so far today i have been ate 3 small bowls of chicken broth (not all at once) 3 sugar free popsicles, a mashed banana it was almost like baby food and now i just had me some fat free yogurt.. not too mention 2 protien shakes and alot of water.. i think im eating too much i just feel soo hungry idk if its just because im so use to eating or what but i really do miss regular foods i feel like eating a big chicken strip or something but i just gotta remember how bad i wanted this and i have been struggling with my weight for as long as i can remember...it all started with me having a problem with my thyroid but yeah so am i eating to much in 1 day? i wish this was easier for me.

yeah its a bit strange how much sleeve is handling all this food.. but im gonna force myself not to overdo it

thanks for being honest i also have a habit of eating when im bored but have been trying to walk to avoid that im going to do better and try not too eat too much thanks for your support

Yes! I Finally Have My sleeve and i did pretty well in the hospital i was just in ALOT of pain when i woke up from sergruy i was crying and was hoping the pain would stop but the nurses gave me pain medication and the pain went away thank god!. i was in the hospital for 3 days just got home yesterday and i am having trouble keeping my protien shakes down i feel nauseous when i drink it but i have not vomited yet and hoping i dont, i'm still a little sore but i have pain medication so that helps and i dont have a drain just five little insicions, I Am also having trouble keeping my fluids down it kinda hurts when i drink my water but it has gotten better. I Was sooo nervous going in for my sergury but when it was over i was happy i also had gas pain but that has gotten alot better too so overall i did real good in the hospital and i am excited to lose this weight and for a healthier life

i've been drinking the advanced whey portien, i think its rather good. When i was gonna get the gastric bypass sergury my nurse actually suggested me to drink that. You can add water with it or milk i perfer the milk though its more tastey

Mine was june 26th but something came up and hadda post poned it, So now its set for July 6th! this friday i cannot wait

Hey everyone!, i have been wondering after you guys have had your surgery have your breast shrunk at all?.. i'm hoping mine doesnt because i like the size i am at which is a C and i wouldnt want to be any smaller than that lol
