I Want Food!!

I had my surgery on the 24th and haven't had anything but fluids since the 22nd. I am sooo hungry. Well, not really, but I want taste :hungry: I want chew. I want something that is not broth or Water or sugar free popsicle. I hate, hate, hate Jello, so that's out and I couldn't gag down yogurt on a good day.

What am I going to do, I feel like raiding my fridge just for something with a little taste to it!

Any one else have this problem? What tips/tricks do you use to get through it?

I remember. I was banded 7-19-06. Just as I was getting into some really good food and my first fill was today 8-28-06. Back to liquids for a few days.

Im writing because my doctor allowed me to chew 1/2 cup cottage cheese per day on my liquid 2 weeks.

I know you said no to yogurt but I like key lime pie, pina colada and coconut creme pie. Could you try some flavors that wet you whistle?

Hi there,

I pureed soups during my liquid phase - are you limited to clear liquids? If not, you can make any yummy soups you like (from Campbell's to homemade) and run them through the blender. I had cream of mushroom, and then some bean with bacon, and I thought I'd gone to heaven :D
