This Is Repetative Buti Need To Vent!

Recommended Posts

I know it's been talked about here A lot but I'm freaking out about my hair loss!! I cry every time I shower and see the chunks of hair that fall out. I've been taking my 60-80 gems of Protein a day, my Vitamins and everything the dr told me but it didn't help :( I had my surgery in January and I knew this was going to happen and I thought I was prepared to handle it, but I'm taking it hard. I know all the reasons this happens and all that but I just need to vent. I feel like I'm going bald!!

Sorry if some of u get annoyed by this post but I really needed to vent! Thanks to those who took the time to read this.

I am so sorry for your loss literally. I am not sleeved yet(June 15) but I am so scared about this side effect. I just posted about the same subject yesterday. Try some Biotin and Nixon Shampoo. I hope things get better soon. Good luck on your weight loss.

I'm nearly 10 months out and have been losing hair for nearly 5 months. The above post is correct, try Nioxin products and use Biotin....it won't stop your hair from falling out but it helps hair grow. I'm surprised daily after my shower that I still have hair on my head...but I do. It'll be okay, I promise. :)

Most have some sort of Hair loss. Mine started falling out at 2 months, got extreme at 4, at 6 months now and it's still falling out, but it has slowed. Good luck I know it sucks. Use Shampoo with Karatin it will help your new growth.

Thanks! But just be mentally prepared for it is all I can say. Start taking biotic as of now. I made the mistake of not doing that.

I started using Nixon last week so I'm hoping that will help grow it back soon.its mentally traumatic, for me at least, but I still don't regret the surgery.

But I hope this stops soon. My hair started fAlling out a month ago already. I would actually like it if it maybe even slowed down :(

Thanks everyone for listening! :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
