My Pre-Op Dream

With 8 days left til surgery, I have been feeling very anxious. Last night I had a dream that I was sleeved and years later i was in a nursing home. I had dimentia and coudnt tell the nurses that i needed to drink alot of water, take vitamins and eat protein first at meals. They had everything messed up and I was really sick and couldnt tell them. It was a horrible dream and I woke up ready to cancel the surgery. Geez. I need to get a grip! lol!

Lol, I know it shouldn't be funny, but it is. Dr. Yu is my surgeon too.

I woke up during my hysterectomy and announced that I was going to be sick. Went back to "sleep" and don't remember anything else. Later, the surgeon told me it was funny.

I too had crazy sleeve dreams right before surgery. I haven't had one in the 3 days since and I've slept a lot since then. Maybe the conflict worked itself out or maybe I'm not remembering any dreams due to the pain meds I'm on.
