I'm glad I found this app!!! I read all of these great weight loss stories and I feel like a little over 50lbs lost just isn't enough for five months out. I really go through a variety of emotions, however, I am pleased these past few weeks since I've lost 8lbs in two weeks after being stalled for two months. I like the benefits of the sleeve, however I find thAt I experience what could be hyperglycemia. I eat right, drink my shakes and then around two pm I want to hit up Dunkin Donuts. Has anyone else experienced these cravings and how did u deal with it?

I look forward to spending a lot of time on this app :)

Carbs are the devil! STAY AWAY at all costs. You have been through all this, and the last thing you want is to slow your roll. Find something else yummy to fill up on...I like meat and veggies, as I am a southern chic, but surely you have something else to please you. Stay strong, and remember how much you want this. Get on here, call a friend....anything, but don't give in to the carbs. They aren't worth it. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

I feel you....I no longer give into bad carbs, however, I do eat good carbs (whole grains, fruits, etc.) and increasing my intake of whole grains has kept me full longer and gotten rid of my afternoon donut cravings.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
