Me too. Tonight I tried bumping up my calories and carbs to see if I could trick my body.

I too am a ” staller” and a ” slow loser” but like my doctor said, being a slow loser can be good for your skin, less chance of alot of excess loose skin because we are working out alot and it still has elasticity. When you loose really fast, your skin doesn't have the chance to bounce back so to speak causing more of a chance of loose skin. This to shall pass. I don't trick my body, I keep doing what I need to and eventually my body responds with weight loss.

I feel great after I exercise.... I actually missed my walk today because I was busy running around with my daughter for her prom tonight and I feel really bummed about it. I never felt this way before about exercise but I like it. I don't look at it as a chore, I look at it as something I can control during my stalls. I know ... I am nuts! But it works for me. I am soon to be 6 weeks out and down 30 pounds. I do know I lost alot of inches because I went from a 22/24 to a 14 jeans. Keep your head up!!!! You are all doing great and I am always logging on because this a positive forum and great motivation!

At three weeks, I stalled out for six.....long.....excruciating.....frustrating...nauseating weeks. I raised my calories and lowered my calories, I lifted weights harder every time, I did almost everything. Then I stripped out my carbs and quit lifting weight and just did cardio. BING!!! That totally kick started my loss. Now it's fairly steady. I'll lose 3-5 pounds then stop for a week or so then lose more. As long as I lose eventually, I'm happy! Maybe you will find the magic button to start it up again. Just keep shaking things up and it'll happen.

All I can say is that I bumped them up yesterday and felt icky. I don't like eating that many carbs. Today I was one lb less but I had to take a Water pill because I was holding onto that much Water. I know what you mean cuz I feel that way too when I read about other people. I keep praying that by me losing this slowly, maybe I then will not have sagging skin or lose my hair.

That's what I'm hoping too. The slower pace might help our body react by not having loose skin.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
