Are there any men since being sleeved use the bathroom less than before. I swear I could possibly go all day and not even take a piss. Before the fact I was using the bathroom at least once an hour. I drink Water all day and still don't have the urge to pee. Are there any men experience this.

I'm sorry, but I'm a female too and I have the same thing going on. I have been struggling to get my output up because my Dr. says that this whole process is really dependent on being hydrated...

Same here....not a man....hardly go at all. My blood work showed my BUN was elevated and my doc says I have to drink more Water (which is hard but I'm trying) but literally if I saved it up all day, I bet I go less than 8 oz.

Remember peeing like a normal person? I'm amazed every time I'm in a public bathroom and here other woman going (gross I know)..but I notice this now.

Just had my sleeve done on Monday (30), had trouble going the first day or two but it wasn't because i didn't have any, I ended up needing a cath. which relieved 1400cc at one time, since then been going every couple hours and a fair amount each time, I don't what to suggest to you but I know that if your eating things like Soup that have alot of salt you will retain fluids like crazy. becareful of your salt intake.

I know that this is the men's room but I just wanted to chime in because I've noticed a difference too. Pre-op I would regularly go four or five times a day. Now eight weeks out I rarely go more than twice. I'm drinking the recommended amount of fluids and I don't eat much of anything with salt in it. I just think it's one of those weird side effects of surgery.

I'm not having any problem going to room. I don't go as often since I can't drink a whole bottle of Water in one swoop. I'd say I go 4 or 5 times a day. That's about the only way I know if I'm hydrated or not.

Keep in mind that a lot of fluids come from food, not just liquids. Eating less with cause less urine.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
