I did. And I'm only a month post op.

I've gone down at least a size. My size 10 shoes keep falling off! I had a lot of cute ones, too. :(

Upside is, now that I'm at a more reasonable size (and maybe down even more? Please?), I can find even cuter shoes since shoe manufacturer's don't realize that women's feet come in all shapes and sizes. I mean, even Jackie Kennedy wore a size 10! That's gotta count for something!

My mom had the bypass 30 years ago and she went down two shoe sizes.

I went down a shoe size within 1-month. Both in size and width. I can buy med instead of wides! WOO HOO!

contact lenses?

My feet are narrower, I had a pair of heels that pinch me and I wore them for 4 hours on Friday and thRey didn't bother me a bit.

Yes, I am six weeks post op, and my size 11s are flopping off my feet, 10 are fitting okay. I wear a 10.5, but I buy 11, probably will not be able to wear any (11) in the near future.

I will be p!ssed if I lose a shoe size! I've got so many shoes! All my Nikes and Coach, my one lonely pair of Jimmy Choos. Sob I will heart broken.

My shoe size hasn't changed - I wish! I'm a 9.5, if I were a 9, life would be much easier.

Shoes AND contact lenses

I was wondering about contact lenses. I thought about asking here on the forum and never did.

I just got new contacts at the beginning of the year. Recently, they don't fit right. I've been wearing contacts for years and never had as many problems as I have with my current ones. I was wondering if maybe my eyeballs became smaller because of my weight loss. I've considered going back to my eye doctor to check the fit. I've hesitated though because I bought a year's supply, which I have never done before. What will I do with the other three boxes if my size changed? LOL!

I went from a size 9W to an 8 1/2 regular at 3 months out - All the seriously cute heels I had from before I got pregnant that I haven't been able to wear since I was about 6mo pregnant now fit my feet again! COMFORTABLY! Unfortunately my body isn't used to heels anymore so I have to ease my way back into them, but I can't freaking wait to wear them all the time again! I effing love my heels!

Yes, definitely smaller and thinner. Went from a 12W to an 11.5M (hard to find, so I wear a lot of tight 11s and loose 12Ms now).

I didn't think to check and just quit wearing them, thinking that it was an allergy problem or something. They would just pop out. When I went for my regular eye appt. the doc commented that my eyeball size had shrunk!

I've noticed a difference with my shoes after just 2 weeks, post-op. My Birkenstocks are FALLING off my feet. I wear custom orthodics and need new ones, but I'll be waiting a bit!
