I stalled at 3 weeks as well. Even gained back 5 pounds. I was probably not hydrated enough and when I finally got the liquid in I gained the 5 lbs. 5 lbs is a little over 1/2 a gallon of Water. Not a lot considering the total volume of someone who weighs 347lbs. There is no way you lost 30lbs of fat since March 22nd. Much of that is water. Now that you lost the water the fat is a lot harder to come off.

Hey...first time poster.

I was sleeved on 3/26 at 446 pounds and on my first check up on 4/4 i was 425 for a total of 21 pounds in ten days. My PCP seemed every impressed with amount of weight loss in that short of time. I was however told that the weight loss will slow down when I start on soft foods which makes sense. I am on day two of soft foods and I counted my calories today and I have consumed 1300 for the day. I think is about double of what what I was consuming when I was on liquids. So I expect to stall at this point or at least slow down.

Good Luck!

My dr wants me to stay at 600-800 cal per day for at least a year so you may want to watch your calorie intake. I am a process operator at a plant and tried on my nomex yesterday for the first time since surgery and oh my gosh!!! A big big difference. A lot so in my belly. I have had two babies in two years and swore my stomach had a lot of Fluid retained and now my husband finally believes me! Lol still weighing everyday even though y'all said not to! scale is it 272.8!!! Stall seems to be easing up. I'm ready to be skinny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
