Finally - 8 Week Stall Is Over! (I Hope!)

Recommended Posts

I'm on my 7th week stall. I'm so depressed...I eat like a rabbit and walk daily but the scale is staying the same

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process. None of us lose weight at a constant rate. You will stall if you successfully lose weight.

Make sure you are getting in all of your Protein and fluids, take your Vitamins and supplements as directed, and exercise. Make sure you are eating enough (eating like a rabbit doesn't sound good --rabbits don't eat protein-rich foods).

Embrace the Stall!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I meant as in how small I eat. I'm definitely getting all my Protein in.

I can relate! I had a similar experience. I am down 80lbs total, but LOTS of stalls along the way. My body likes to tease me and lose 10lbs then stall on me for a few weeks. Hang in there, you'll keep losing.

Ok, I'm not trying to be nasty in any way, but 1000 - 1200 calories? I'm three months out, eating around 700 - 750 calories a day. That's absolute calories, I don't eat back my exercise calories. I plan on being around 1000 when I am in maintenance, which hopefully will be after losing another 50 pounds. I've had stalls, just went through a week-long one. It just seems like 1200 calories is telling your body you want to be in maintenance.

That was way back in 2012. She may have been following her surgeons instructions. We all have our own path to follow.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
