What Is Best Peanut Butter?

Recommended Posts

I can have Peanut Butter now, but was shocked when I read the jar to see all the sodium! Does anyone uhave suggestions for any that taste decent but are less sodium? If it tastes really bad, I would rather not even have it!

I do not like "natural" Peanut Butter. I absolutely love Peter Pan creamy whipped peanut butter. I haven't had any since the surgery, but it does stare at me when I open the pantry.

My favorite is Costco's Organic Natural Peanut Butter. We have eaten it for quite a while now and find it delicious.

I might order Koeze cream nut natural Peanut Butter soon to taste it.

Is it low is sodium?

My favorite Peanut Butter is Peter Pan Whipped which is suppose to have less sugar than their regular. I don't know the sodium content. But I tried MaraNatha All Natural No Stir Almond Butter and I am IN LOVE!!! I like it better than peanut butter and that's saying a lot lol.

I tried many different brands of Natural or low sodium peanut butters and to me none satisfied what I really wanted. So it's either Skippy Super Chunk or nada. Not really a big deal to me anyway, one tablespoon satisfies the craving and it actually fills me good.

I found it at my local Walmart! It's right beside the peanut butters. I was so surprised they carried it, and it's delicious.

:)

Not having to stir sounds heavenly. Where do you buy it?

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
