I had surgery on Dec. 16th and I was suppose to have my staples removed on Dec. 30th (2 weeks post-op). But because of the holidays the soonest I could see the Dr. is Jan 9th (3 weeks 3 days post-op). Because of the extra week I'm a little worried about the staple removal hurting more. This was my first surgery and I have never broken anything so I'm still trying to gage my pain threshold. To tell the truth I don't even know the process used to remove the staples! Any suggestions? I just want to be better prepared so I don't see a weird tool and want to run, LOL!!
