Hi everyone! Well I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. i just got this long list of Vitamins that I need to buy. My Dr office told me to go to celebratevitamins.com . I was just wondering where ya'll got your vitamins from and if it was any cheaper than Celebrate. For a 90 day supply of B-12 , a Multivitamin, Iron and Calcium it totals to be $115 with free shipping. i don't know if that's a good price or not. I am also looking at different Proteins, any suggestions there??

If you know anyone that has a military Id card and access to the commissary on any of the bases near you, have them pick you some up there. I got my sublingual B complex with B12, Citracal Petites, women's multivitamin (for now), chewable multivitamin (for after), Iron, and Complex B for $30 and its a month and a half or so supply, based on what my doctor suggested I take. I also bought some Flaxseed Oil (instead of fish oil) but I can't remember how much that was, not much though.

I only use Celebrate for a chewable calcium citrate because I can't swallow the Citracal petites even now and too much of the liquid I use gives me the squitters. You can get a complete multi, Iron, and B-12 elsewhere for lots less. Centrum makes a complete chewable for not much money and is available everywhere. My iron comes from a discount grocery store

(Grocery Outlet in CA) and costs $1.99 for 100 tablets, I'm sure you can find something similar in your area. Wal-Mart has a good, quick-dissolving B-12 sublingual for less than 4 dollars and you only need one or two 2500 mcg pills a week. I use costco Premier Protein (the ready-to-drink shakes) and still like them after 10 months.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
