It's not ever winter yet and I can't take it

I will say, though, that the hot flashes I thought I had lost forever have started to come back. So every few days I will "flash" and go from freezing to flushing and then in 15 minutes back to freezing again. It's weird.

Even with all the complaining and discomfort, I WOULDN'T TRADE MY SLEEVE FOR ANYTHING!!!

OH YEAH, now that was an unpleasant discovery--I think I'm at around the same point in overall weight loss as you are, and yep, those pesky hot flashes that were kept at bay with the release of estrogen (yay fat burning!) are coming BACK. So I'm doing what you are! My husband calls me the East Texas Weather Machine, because I'm hot, then cold, then hot--it's crazy!

But you're 100% right, even with all this silliness, I wouldn't trade my sleeve for anything, either!!!! I'm fine piling on a sweater or stripping off my socks at a moment's notice--whatever works! This too shall pass, and we'll be thin and healthy and postmenopausal some day. At least now I feel like I'll be around to BE postmenopausal--couldn't say that before my sleeve!!

It's hilarious how everyone is complaining here about skinny issues now instead of fat issues. I can't wait to be cold or have my butt hurt in a chair.

I feel cold all the time too. I'd rather be cold and wearing cute layers, than sweating like a pig because I'm so damn hot. I used to hate the summer and hot weather because of my fat. I would sweat excessively, and I felt stinky and gross (on top of being fat). Now I look forward to next summer- I hope I'll be near or past goal by then :smile1:

Being cold is uncomfortable, though. I suppose it's a trade-off. I haven't had the butt-bone issue yet, but I'm sure it will come :(.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
