I need a secretary!

Today I drove 45 minutes to have my psych eval only to find out that my appointment is actually Friday. My husband said (joked) this didn't bode well for my evaluation. I swore it was today, and I even called the psychiatrist to let her know I was waiting. She was ill today and had canceled everything. After I arrived back home and rechecked my paperwork, I realized I was the one who was wrong.

My doctor was supposed to fax my recommendation letter to my surgeon by today. My surgeon hadn't received it as of 1:30 today, but my doctor is saying it was faxed this morning.

I have this giant list of things to do and people to contact, and I feel like if I'm not careful I'm going to miss something.

Tomorrow I have to drive over an hour to attend a support group meeting.

I teach, so I'm not working 40 hours right now. If I was, I don't think I'd be able to get everything done and stay on track of everything.

I've been keeping all of my information in a file folder with multiple pockets. It seems to help, but I still screwed up this morning.

life happens huh? It's a cute story though thanks for sharing! I have it happen lately where i go to Walmart and once i go through that breezy entrance it's like the wind blows out all my thoughts and i can't remember what i came to walmart for . . . i hate that . . .

OMG that is so true!! You're making me wonder if they do that on purpose...

To the OP, the journey to get the sleeve or any WLS is pretty wacky. We all got through it though, and you will too. Just keep venting here, we'll get you through it.

go to cozi.com. This is a shared calendar, shopping list, etc.....My husband and I share it, so we both get set up reminders for appts and such. You can set a reminder for yourself or go to all family members. Every Sunday it sends me a list of all the appointments for the week. It has a grocery list that you can add to it while the other person is at the store. I even have my husband trained to put on his doctor appts as soon as they are made. I love it.

My iphone has really helped me with appts, I use the calender, notepad for grocery lists and to do stuff, and of course the myfitnesspal app.
