I have not used anything but Premier brand, and Protein Plus by Muscle Milk. Both are sold at costco. It costs about $60 for a case of Premier and the big jar of Protein Plus. Premier has 30g protein, and PP is 26g protein. The Premier is premade in Choc flavor, and I use the vanilla powder for the other one. I can mix it with Water, or soymilk, or even Almond Milk unsweetened, frozen fruits, etc., for a tasty drink. When I return to work in the fall, I will probably get the Premier shakes again, and try to get a portable blender to take with me in lunches. I will be eating more solids then, so will see how it goes. Your brand is a new one so I will check it out. Good luck with your surgery--sorry it got postponed a bit--but I promise that you will be soooo happy you had your surgery, and the health will significantly improve. Take care, and give us a progress report.

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
