That's an incredible amount! You must post a ticker for everyone to see your journey. I am 7 weeks out tomorrow and have lost 43 lbs, however that includes my pre-op weight loss. I am completely happy with that amount but am curious as to how you are losing so much so fast and I am sure other people are curious also. Please post some insight into your success! Way to go...you are definately using your sleeve to your advantage!

Thank you everyone!! And congrats to all of u on your weightloss also!! This is an amazing tool! As far as how I've done it.....the first 6 weeks were hell with the post op diet but I think now it completly changed my tastebuds! I tried to cheat and get a piece of chocolate and with one bite realized I don't like chocolate anymore (which is awesome because that was my weakness)....also I tried to drink a soda and it also tasted terrible to me. So now if I have any sugar head hunger I go to fruit and it works! I have always been a very picky eater and wouldn't even try many different things and I always ate crap and fast food. Now I have cravings for things I've never even tried! I also have to remind myself I need to eat a lot of the time because I'm never actually hungry. I eat a lot of tuna with no bread, I keep the carbs to a minimum during the week but unusally on the weekend if we have a carb with dinner I will have a bite or two. Breakfast is usually a carnation Breakfast drink and I only use reduced fat milk, lunch tuna or deli ham (no bread), dinner I usually only eat the meat and veggies of whatever I make for my family for dinner. I also ride bikes often and do P90x, I have to take it easy I find because I'm not eating enough calories to give me tons of to burn off.

Any questions or suggestions on how I can do better or more?! I don't want u all to think I never do anything bad cause I have, and there have been many days where I have sat on the couch and was just too tired to do anything! There were days where we ended up eating out and I would try to choose the best thing for me but fast food is fast food.

I hope this helps or at least gives u all some insight on what I've been doing or not doing lol.....

Sophie good luck on ur appt in sept and u will do great! Best choice u could make!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
