I have been reading a lot all over this board and read somewhere that a lot of you don't have any boobs anymore. I was wondering does everyone lose their boobs?

Now, I know boobs are just fat tissue and when I lose weight, they do shrink, but do they seriously go that much? Seriously, I have nice ones, not to toot my own horn and this worries me!! LOL

Are there any of you out there that still have them?

Thanks!

Kelly

Well when I weighed 140 I was a 38 B/C. Now at 290 I'm a 44 DDD. So compared with now I guess back then I would have felt like I had no boobs. But honestly I'm looking so forward to these beach balls becoming softballs again!

A friend of mine once said, "Big boobs, big everything else :P ." He was sure right with that!!!

I was a 42DD and now am a 38D and they are getting smaller. I actually like them smaller. The breasts like everthing else store fat and when they go, they go...

When I am at goal, I plan on getting a Tummy Tuck and boob lift!!!

Well, maybe I should clarify!! LOL

I have a good 40D. I don't want to become like a B or something. That is all I was saying. Mine aren't HUGE by any means, but I don't want to be left with little mosquito bites either!!

HAHAHAHAHA!!

LOL Kelly! Well let's just say I started the same size as you. Right now I'm a 34D... so there ya go. Of course, I can't finish this post without the "everyone's different" disclaimer.

I was a 44D and now I'm a 40D. At my thinnest, I was a 36C, so I still had boobs, just more proportionate to my overall figure.

Well, I have lost 55lbs pre-op and I haven't lost cup size, but have gone done inches.

Thanks girls. That makes me feel a lot better. Hopefully, mine will stay.

LOL

Ohhh how I wish I could give you this rave review that the boobs stay around. BUT, that would be an utter lie.

I went from a perky, round, full, beautiful 40-42D/DD (depending on the bra), and today, I'm a TINYYYYYYYYY 32/34 B (well except pregnancy is plumping them out some, not much, but some).

And sadly, they are just skin bags now. They fall over to my armpits, my sternum sticks up above them when on my back (that was interesting the first time my husband and I ever "sternum" bumped while humping),

I held onto my boobs with a solid C cup, and they still looked good even with 115lbs lost, well least to say another 23lbs lost, and I guess I lost all it all my boobs because they just kept shrinking, and sagging.

After this baby is born, and hopefully for my birthday the following year, I'll get new ones. A good bra really helps with what they look like in clothes, but naked, it's not pretty.

Honestly, I wouldn't trade my saggy socks with half lemons that I have today for the back fat and thighs touching and rubbing that I had at 270lbs.

I was wondering if someone would come in and tell the truth! My friend at Water aerobics had the same thing- basically hanging skin bags. She had a breast job when she had her Tummy Tuck. Since I have neither money for that nor insurance that covers it I will have my skin bags for a long time....

But as TIff sys- I want to say goodbye to many of my other physical attributes so that's life - and since they usually represent going to goal or under goal- let it rip!!

I was telling the truth... for me.

Are they as filled with fat as they were pre surgery? No, but I'm still a nice sized D cup and I am not unhappy with them at all. My husband doesn't complain either. He likes them just as much as he always has.

I do want an augmentation, but not because I hate my boobies but because I've always wanted really big boobs. I'm going to go from a D to DD. Anyway, I'm just saying that everyone's going to report something different here. We are all individuals and because some say they still have nice boobs doesn't mean it's simply not true.

LOL HIP!!

And TIFF you are right, I guess I would rather get rid of my fat and if the boobs go then they go!! Thanks for helping me to see it in a different light. Bring on small boobs if I can be healthy and thin! LOL

I feel like 50% of the weight I have lost so far has been from the girls! I am totally ok with the loss though because before I started gaining weight I wasn't big busted and I know under this fat is a small boned person. I will look more proportional and normal (for me) once I get to whatever my new normal is. I am hoping not to get to flabby but I will have to wait and see what I get. Good topic!! ;)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
