Need help with protein

I am almost 2 weeks post-op and on mushies/soft foods. I have been trying every day to get a Protein shake in but they just make me gag! What else can I do so that I can get in my recommended amount of protein daily (70 grams)? I'm trying to do it with food, but I'm not eating enough to do it.

Any tips would be amazing, thanks.

You could try mixing your protein whey in yogurt or pudding.

Cottage cheese and Fage Greek Yogurt flavored with SF Torani syrups helped me. Also mushed beans and blenderized chicken soup with added chicken.

does anyone know if they sell the unflavored protein powder at walmart or target? I think i'd rather just add it into a little bit of everything than having the shakes. any good brands you've tried and where you bough them?

Try Egg Beaters and low-fat cottage cheese. Agree with others on mixing protein powder into pudding, greek yogurt, and oatmeal. I used Vanilla Ice Cream protein powder and it adds a nice flavor. If you are able to eat canned meats, Albacore Tuna has a good amount of protein.
