Atkins protein bars

Does any one know if Atkins protein bars are allowed or good for us? I am in the solids stage and had 1/2 of the peanut butter bar which was very yummy. I did not feel sick or anything but then started to wonder if those are healthy and good for us. They seem to make a nice snack.

I often eat them as a meal as long as they do not have to many carbs and they have alot of protein I don't see why they would be a problem just watch the amount of calories in them if you are using them as a snack

For me personally, they didnt have enough protien, and were a little high in fat. I like the prmier protien bars available at walmart. 19g protien. Its all about what you lose best with. Fat doesnt really effect me, but I wanted to watch it anyway.

I ate them early out ... I hated protein shakes & they were easy to transport.

They are on my doctor's list of acceptable protein bars

Thanks everyone. I will buy more of them to have them always available at work and in my purse. :D

I'm a fan of South Beach protein bars, myself.

I love the caramel chocolate crunch atkins bars! They are always my snacks on the go. I usually have half in the morning put in zip lock and half in the afternoon. They taste great and it's not too sweet! I haven't tried any others but I will soon.
