Recommended Posts

What is this Unjury everyone is talking about and where do I buy it. My surgery is in 21 days, man, I'm just counting them down. I have bought every single item on the to buy list except this unjury stuff.

Thank you guys,

Sherri

P.S. I am really getting grouchy, I mean bad groucy, did any of you days before surgery?

:)

It is a Protein Shake and it was the best one I found for taste... the chocolate is delicious and I've heard that the unflavored mixes well into Soups and such. It's a little expensive... but take it from a girl that spent a lot of money on gross supplements... it is worth it! You can find it at http://www.unjury.com Good luck with your surgery!

Unjury is a whey based Protein supplement in powder form. From my personal experience and in comparison to other whey based protein powders, Unjury has little or no flavor (when you use the unflavored) and has no odor. Others have a sweet, almost offensive smell and flavor to me. The others remind me of powdered milk, but worse. Which, to my understanding, powdered milk is actually made with some of these whey based powders.

You can get Unjury at http://www.unjury.com/

It comes in Unflavored, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry sorbet. You can get sample packets, individual packets and multi-use containers.

IMHO, Unjury is the best although I haven't tried the iso Proteins and have heard they're good too.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
