the 2 lumps that used to be on my chest, any idea where they might have gone????

Seriously I am about 68 pounds done from Jan of 2010 and one month post op and suddenly I have lost my breasts! I look down and all I see is baggy shirt material where they used to be. I am not sure how I feel about that.

sorry gals, can't relate with you there. . . I have always hated my boobs, so much in fact that in 2000 I had them reduced big time. . they took 14lbs off each one. . . can you believe that! and that left me with a 44D! Now that I've lost 145 lbs I'm a 38D, they just don't seem to want to leave. . . it's my butt that I worry about. . .but at this time it's still rounded and cute. . . thank god for genetics in that area!

I am not looking forward to anymore surgery, but I do think when I have my Tummy Tuck, I will have to get the girls replaced:)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm getting my girls replaced big time. I can not stand not having boobs. I don't feel feminine without a bra. I hate looking at my flat chest. Most people do not believe they look "this bad", but believe me, they are horribly ugly.

I would almost get boobs over a tummy tuck at this point. I'm starting the consultation portion of the insurance hoops after the 1st of the year.

I totally just noticed this today myself!!!! I am down 30lbs and have a lot more to go so I'm scared what is going to happen then!! LOL

Annoys me because in 2005/2006 I lost 50lbs so that I could get a breast reduction (they were a 42F) and even loosing that weight my breasts didn't move but now that I am losing this weight they are moving and they are already small enough!! LOL

Tiff, does insurance cover the girls??? I know the doc can get the tummy thing pushed through due to rashes and things, but the girls???

I wear an A cup now down from a C and believe me I hate it too. I never did have big ones, but I am smaller now that I was in High School. I'm not going to pay for boobs though. I'd rather have a face lift. I've gone bra less most of my life every change I get, and that is one good thing. Now I can go without one even more. I have to wear one to work, but that's about it. Oh yeah, I wear a heavily padded one on dates.

Most insurance companies will not pay for breast implants without a medical necessity such as deformity or after other breast surgery.

Our insurance will cover breast implants, but I have to claim mental defect, and have to jump through major hoops and they may still not cover them. I know a few ladies that have been able to get them covered, but it takes some time. I do have extra skin under my arms, and I can claim some skin irritation under the skin so we'll just have to see what I can get covered.

Well, I feel like a hot mess! My rump has disappeared and my girls look like two deflated balloons. So sad. : ( But, would I do it all again? In a heart beat!!

Tiffykins, let me know how that goes, I am planning to do the same as you and need ideas. I will be sleeved on the 17 of January and won’t be having PS until 2012 but I want to start getting everything in order.

A friend of mine just went with the rash all over idea and was able to get the abdominoplasty and Breast Lift paid for by the insurance.

Good Luck!!!

I am with you too ladies... now in a very flat b cup with room! I think by the end, I too will just have that empty space... never had big boobs!!

I would love a boob lift and TT when I am ready, but I will have to pay and not sure if I will be able to afford it! Best start saving now eh?!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
