What is your height?

Silly question, but I really want to know....

I am just shy of 6ft. My goal weight is 180-190, any lower would just be a dream.

You?

5'9" - My goal is 200 (or 199 to only say that I am in the hundreds!), which should put me at a size 12 or so. But I really want the body lift or Tummy Tuck AND a breast reduction, which would lower my overall weight.

5'11 about 75 lbs ago, 5'10 now. Right now I see 180 - 200 as my "ideal" weight.

I am 5'4 and I was told that I should aim for 135-145. But I am 185 now and a size 12/14. My fill doc told me 135 is way too low and I should aim for a size rather than a weight. She explained that because of carrying around all the extra weight that I used to have, my muscles and bones are denser...meaning that I basically weigh more than I look. She said that's why 135 is really unrealistic becasue I would probably end up as a size 0 or 1.

5'3" and I would be happy at 140 pds. I think at my height I should be between 125-140. I will aim for the higher number.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
