The pomegranite is soooo good...but don't buy it until you can have chunky stuff! It has real pomegranite seeds in it and is yummy. I get them at Target... 5 for $5

I get the plain chobani yogart and add my own fruit. I'm scared that there's extra sugar and stuff in those ones that have fruit already in it. Am I just being neurotic?????

I don't think you're being neurotic. Not only can you control the sugar more by adding your own fruit, but the plain also has more protein than the ones that already contain fruit.

I'm not a big yogurt fan... but, I can eat this kind.

Since it's texture is different.. I can tolerate it a little better

I take the plain chobani and add SF/FF Jello Pudding to it to give it flavor! YUM.

Is it just me, or has greek yogurt just exploded in popularity? Honestly I had never given it a second look until May of this year, when I had my first NUT visit and she mentioned it for post op.

Now I see even the store brands have their own version of the higher priced yogurt at a cheaper price. Unfortunately, I happen to do most of my grocery shopping at a super-busy grocery store and they frequently run low on ALL brands of greek yogurt....ugh!

I have been using it in my Protein shakes (I have to add splenda to the plain cus it's a little sour), but I get over 20 grams of protein from the yogurt and 24 from the Protein powder and it's yummy!

After everyones raves about Chobani yogurt on this site I set out to try some and I have to say...GAG.... NOT A FAN! I found its taste and texture pretty gross.

LOL, Sorry just had to share :) Rock on with it if you like it by all means.

haha ...i finally bought one and it is sitting in my frig...i cant stand yogurt and procrastinating trying it lol

I really prefer the Fage 2%. Even though it has 2% fat, it has basically the same amount of calories (more calories per cup but also more grams). It is creamier and not as tart and has 17g of Protein for 130 calories.

If you think the 0% Chobani is too tart and dry, try the Fage.

And if you don't like it at all, mix it with a little bit of milk to make is creamier.

If you don't like the tartness of the Chobani try putting in a little splenda in it. The vanilla is the only one I've tried so far and with the sweetener it makes it much much better.

The Chobani 2% pineapple is SO GOOD! Love it. I usually stick with the athenos 0% Strawberry most of the time just because it has no fat, more protein, and it's a lot cheaper. I also use the athenos non fat plain in place of sour cream and it's delicious for that purpose.
