The easiest way is to upload the picture to a photo hosting site such as photobucket.com

Once the pic is uploaded, copy the "DIRECT LINK" code.

Come back here, and on the toolbar of the message box by the B I font color choice, you'll see that little box. On my screen it's yellow background with 2 little mountain peaks that are grey. It's right next to the hyperlink globe.

When you click on that box, a scripted window will open, and you will paste that DIRECT LINK into that window. Hit OK, and the picture should appear in the message box.

If this doesn't work, let me know.

The other option is to upload the picture to photobucket.com or other photo hosting site. Then right click the mouse on the actual picture, hit COPY, then come here and paste it in the message box. I've found that this method does not always work so I stick with the first one.

Thanks so much:) So a pic has to be added for every message? Is there a way to have the photo there for every message. Standard? I guess what I meant was that your pic is near your name. How did you get it to do that?

Ok I found it. It was under USER CP at the top of the screen. I used the edit Avatar link...duh.... Sometimes it takes a little longer for me. :001_tt2:

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
