With my weight loss 8 weeks post-op, I have not had ONE person I know or work with tell me that it looks like I lost weight. No, I didn't tell anyone except family members but I know people can see it and they are checking me out but I am getting zero feedback. I am down 4 sizes, for Pete's sakes :lol0: *gripe*

Anyway, I am not bitter *lol* .. I am winning the race! I am losing face, neck and boobs first. My stomach has gone down but I think that will take awhile since I carried most of my weight in the 'apple' zone. Time will tell what the rest will bring but regardless, I am so excited with the progress so far.

Eloquentblue - four sizes, wow! I don't know how that could go unnoticed, but I don't know what sizes you are in. My highest was a 28 and only my Mother noticed when I went down to a 22. It's more noticeable in the smaller sizes I think. But still, if your coworkers are mostly female, they may be panicking or jealous of your success and don't know how to be happy for your success.

I was a 28 and now I am a 20/22 with a completely different wardrobe.

Yes, I think you are right about the female staff. I suspect they don't know 'how' to approach me or tell me what they think. I am not entirely concerned .. I am rocking this sleeve and look forward to being a 10 or a 12 :lol0:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
