Umm I have to look at what I take. I take one in the morning and one at night. I open the capsules and drop the little balls right in my mouth with some Water. They don't taste bad. I will look when I get home.

I have never seen the capsules either. But the tablets aren't that big and I have no problem swallowing them.

I have some of the tablets and was concerned about swallowing the pills immediately post op. So I had the Dr write me a prescription for prilosec liquid. OMG! I have never tasted anything so horrible!!!! I think I will try adding SF Syrup to it!!! lol So far acid reflux hasn't been a problem post op but I would love to find a solution to that horrible tasting liquid prilosec!!

I can just imagine how bad it tastes. When I had my band, I started taking adult liquid tylenol because it went down easier for me. I discovered it works so much faster than the pills, so both my husband and I use it now, but it is hard getting past the taste of it.

Before surgery I bought some different baking extracts, like banana, mint, cherry, coconut, to add to things that I don't like. the banana flavor made the Jay Robb chocolate shakes taste really good when I was testing them before surgery. It remains to be seen if I still will like them once I start full liquids in 8 more days. 8 more days of clears. Small price to pay for all the pounds that I see melting off me.

It's prescription. I swallow them easily with a swig of Water in the morning. I have learned that if I exhale real big before I take the drink of water the pill goes down a lot easier. It maybe psychological, but I exhale fill up the back of my throat with water, drop the pill in, and swallow. I walk around the island in my kitchen then take another swig of water. Ha ha ha now y'all know my morning ritual. I haven't had to open the capsules at all, and don't think I could handle swallowing the Prilosec laced applesauce.

No Tiff, I don't think it's psychological at all -- when I remember to exhale first, it does go down easier - I just don't think about it until after the fact -- I'll try filling the back of my throat with water first and see if that helps. I, too, can't imagine swalowing Prilosec laced applesauce.

I couldn't find adult liquid tylenol, so ended up buying children's tylenol - cherry flavor - talk about so sickening sweet that I gagged everytime I took it ... and because it was childrens had to take a larger dose -- glad I only did that a few days before I figured out my TMJ was the cause of my headaches and went to see my chiro who put it back in place!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
