I have Celestial blueberry tea that's really good. I forgot about it. I think I will have some now! I have trouble in the evenings wanting something non stop.

A watched pot never boils ... our USPS at it's finest

LMAO ! ! ! I'm waiting on an order of Mederma from skinwest.com, and my bare minerals make-up from ebay.

Our USPS is ridiculous here. . . I can't stand our carrier. But, hopefully, everything will get here this week sometime.:shocked4:

I've heard that Prefer-on, which you can get at Walgreens, works as well if not better than Mederma

I LOVE LOVE LOVE bareminerals. Did you know you can order it from Ulta.com too? It's the same price as QVC and a lot of times they offer free shipping.

Our USPS isn't much better -- Bob had a change of adress in when we separated -- he put in another one just last week -- his mail is going from my the sender to (our) address to his (old) address and then back to our address again ... he finally went to the PO -- the problem was the first change of address was still in effect and the second one didn't cancel out the first one ... duh!

All my stuff came in today.

I decided to try the Fuzzy Navel flavor first, and I must say that's not bad at all, and taste pretty good. I bet it would be good blended with a little ice for some texture, or a slushie type drink. I'm just not a fan of super cold stuff. Not gritty, it mixed well in 16oz of Water. It's not too sweet either. It doesn't have a "baby formula, Protein mix smell".

For me I love the Premier Protein Drink. I get my at costco and love them. But, as I have read everyone has something they like or don't like. The Premier has some pretty great Protein Bars to that I have with me when I am busy--they are handy and nice to have around. They don't taste like cardboard like some Protein bars do and the calories aren't bad. The "Twisted" bars are about 190 calories and 15 grams of protein. And not everyone has a Costco to shop at either.

The "Twisted bar" is made by Premier and they are at costco and they are with all the Protien bars. They come in a box with 3 flavors. They cost about $20.00 per box.

I'm lucky in that regard, I've got my choice of a Costco or Sam's both within about 4 miles from my house. Sam's is closer so I generally go there; sometimes I travel to Costco. DF won't go to Costco with me, though, as it's always too crowded for his liking.

I have been asked if you can find Premier Protein on line and the answer is YES. Just look up Premier Protein and there are a lot of sites that sell this product on line. Make sure you check out more than one site because they do differ in price and you want to find the best deal you can.

Take Care,

Suzanne :lol0:

Lemon Tea flavor is not that tasty. I can't put my finger on why it tastes weird, but I'm determined to drink it. It mixed well with Water, and is not gritty. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone. I love iced tea, so I was hoping this would be a good fit for me.

I'm just disappointed in the flavoring of this one.

Would it help to add some splenda? Or may mix the lemon and iced tea together for a lemony-tea?

Did you buy sample sizes?

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
