coughing and sore throat?

Today is my 3rd day post op. With the exception of a little pain here and there I am doing great! HOWEVER,Every time I cough, or at least try to, my threat feels really sore and super raw. Did this happen to anyone else? Also, I developed some blisters on my lip after surgery, is that normal? Coughing is the worst pain I experience, along with the sore throat afterwards

My WLS was aug 12. I think the sore throat is from being intubated during surgery. I had some weird blisters on my lip as well. Went away after a few days.

The sore throat is prob from the tube used down your throat during surgery. Cough is pretty normal too I've heard also from the tube and the anesthesia. If u start running fever u should call your dr. Don't know about the blisters on the lips tho...hope u feel better soon
